MY STORY

I know how easy it is to lose the photos you thought would always be there.

Some of my own family photographs were lost during moves, and others were destroyed by mold after my home flooded. Those experiences changed the way I think about the boxes of photographs we assume will always be there.

Physical photos can survive for decades, but they are also vulnerable to moves, moisture, damage, and simply being forgotten in storage. Once they’re gone, they can’t always be replaced.

That’s one of the reasons I created Save My Photos.

Many of us are becoming the keepers of our family’s memories.

Family photo collections are often passed down when parents or grandparents downsize, move, or leave their belongings to the next generation. Suddenly, decades of albums, envelopes, shoeboxes, and loose photographs become your responsibility.

You want to preserve them, but sorting years of family history can quickly become overwhelming. Boxes begin filling closets, spare rooms, garages, and storage units because no one knows where to begin.

You inherited the memories. You shouldn’t have to inherit the overwhelm.

I learned how big this job can become.

I later took on the project of digitizing more than 50,000 photographs for someone close to me. Working through a collection built over decades showed me exactly why people put these projects off.

There were boxes, albums, different sizes, different years, and thousands of individual memories to organize. But once the project was finished, photographs that had spent years in storage became organized digital files that were much easier to find, share, and enjoy.

That experience became the foundation for Save My Photos.

You don’t have to organize it all yourself.

Save My Photos was created for the person looking at boxes of photographs and thinking:

“I know I need to do something with these, but I don’t know where to start.”

You don’t need to count everything first, sort every photograph, or know every date. Send me the collection you have, and I’ll help turn it into organized digital files that are easier to store, browse, share, and enjoy.

Save the memories. Lose the boxes.

My goal is more than simply scanning photographs. I want to help families preserve their memories without depending on boxes and storage spaces just to access them.

Your photographs are digitized, organized into practical folders, batch-renamed, and delivered on a USB drive. Your originals are returned to you, while your digital collection gives you a simpler way to back up, duplicate, and share your family’s photographs.

Memory Frames and Memory Movies are also available as optional additions.

Start with the collection you have.

You don’t need an exact count, perfect organization, or every date before contacting me.

Tell me what you have, and I’ll help you take it from there.
