HOW IT WORKS

A simple process for a project you’ve been putting off.

You don’t need to count, sort, or organize everything before getting started. Begin with the collection you have, and I’ll help you work through the rest.

    Tell Me About Your Collection

    Start with a simple conversation.

    Tell me what you have—even if all you know is that you have several boxes, albums, envelopes, or loose photographs.

    You don’t need an exact count before reaching out.

    Send Me Your Collection

    Projects can be sent by shipping or arranged through local drop-off.

    Boxes, albums, envelopes, and loose photographs are welcome. Specific shipping or drop-off instructions are provided before the project begins.

    Shipping costs are paid by the customer.

    We Organize the Project

    Before digitizing, we’ll determine the most practical way to keep your collection organized.

    Your finished digital files can be grouped using the information available in the collection, such as:

    Exact names and dates are not required. When information is unavailable, I’ll use the most practical organization system for the collection.

    Files are batch-renamed so the finished collection is easier to browse and understand instead of being left with thousands of generic filenames.

    Want your loose originals organized too?

    Photo Album Organization is available as an optional add-on for loose original photographs. You can choose an album size and available color/style, and selected photos can be organized into the album before your originals are returned.

    Starting at $30 plus the cost of the selected album.

    Your Collection Is Digitized

    Save My Photos currently digitizes:

    Warm pink photo scanner digitizing family photographs

    Polaroids, negatives, and slides require additional handling and scanning: +$1 per image. Standard printed-photo package pricing remains unchanged.

    At this time, Save My Photos does not digitize videotapes or other video formats.

    Receive Your Organized Digital Files

    Your completed and organized digital files are delivered on a USB drive. USB delivery is standard.

    Memory Frames and Memory Movies are available as optional additions if you’d like another way to enjoy and share your photographs.

    If Photo Album Organization was added to the project, the selected loose photographs will also be returned arranged in the agreed-upon basic albums.

Your originals come back to you.

Digitization does not mean giving up the physical collection. Original photographs and materials are returned after the project is complete.

If Photo Album Organization is added, selected loose photographs can be returned arranged in basic albums instead of loose boxes.
